I am now nearly 5 weeks into my advanced training programme for the London Marathon which takes place in April next year. This is my second marathon; I am so excited to take part and also to raise money for my chosen charity Alzheimer Scotland.

I am training 6 days a week and it is a tough challenge. This morning I went out for my usual run but today I took a different route – I wanted to tackle a couple of hills to build up my strength and endurance.

I have had my own roller-coaster of a year and challenges with self-motivation but to be honest I didn’t expect it to be any different. I have faced many personal and professional challenges on my new business journey but the most amazing thing is that what comes with the lows is some major and I mean MAJOR highs filled with magic, inspiration and an explosiveness of heartfelt and courageous spirit. That, my precious friends, is what I call a true treasure chest of passion.

In the very early hours of Saturday morning (31st October 2009) I experienced my first ever radio interview. I appeared on Real Coaching Radio Network’s Mind, Body and Soul Show hosted by the amazing Coach Steve Toth who is the Founder of RCRN.

To say I was very excited is an under statement—you could have scraped me off the ceiling I was so hyper!! All in the name of my passion I faced my fears and went for it.
